Another historic ranch for sale. Near Brady

Hunting in the area I have heard of the ranch but didn't know much about it. Sounds like an awesome place.

I grew up hunting land owned by G. Rolle White. When my dad was a kid he worked ranches ranches owned by him. The properties I hunted were south of Rochelle. Sure miss hunting that place, didn't know how good we had it at the time.

Wonder if they'd sell me 300 acres at $1885 per acre

Wow, what a Slice of heaven.

I've driven right by that place, Heart of Texas Bow hunting is just north of it.

A friend of mine in Abilene knew the Whites and also hunted there. During the drought of the 50s, he rode in the back of the cattle feed truck and killed all the deer that ran to feed with the cattle. He had some 200 skull caps of those deer at his house.

I hate to see some of these old ranches break up, hope this one doesn't. My Grandad, Dad and even me got to work on some really nice places met a lot of Real Texans all good families. Wish had taken more Pics but that just wasn't done back then.

Good time to take pictures with all the shallow tanks full. Bet it was dry as a bone 5 years ago.
