Any fishing reports for Richland Chambers

Headed down to Richland Chambers Saturday to take the kids fishing. Wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction to put them on some sandbass or hybrids. Thanks in advance.

Fish are in transition from creeks back to main lake. I haven't fished yet but bow fishing and through a line out and caught some small sandies in the creek.

I know you said sandies and hybrids, but the catfish up shallow are hard to beat this time of year on RC. Just find a wind blown point in 2-4' of water and with a little Danny Kings or CJ's rigged under slip bobbers you can load up the boat. Lots of fun for the kids and dang near constant action.

Trying to find a topo map to post. Be more than happy to share spots that we used to when a striper/hybrid tournament. Fished RC three yrs in a row and won once and finished, 2nd, 3rd. All in the same area.

My thoughts exactly. Windy point/shore line or riprap rocks will be good right now for the wisker fish..

Wouldn't happen to be where the is a bunch of tires out in middle of the lake by some flats? Always a good spot for em.

I have never done the catfish on chambers but heard it is pretty good. I need to give it a try.

No sir. This is down by the dam. But if you would like PM a picture of approx location of said tires just in case I ever go back there.

Pull up the lake on google maps. The current satellite imagery is from when the lake was 13' low. You can find all kinds of structure including several tire piles.
