First speckled trout!

My son and I partnered together to buy a bay boat last week. We are bass fisherman but he has been trying to get into the salt water scene since we live on the coast. I had a great trip yesterday and caught my first speck since I was a kid. Had an absolute blast! Much more action than bass fishing as of late!

Congrats. Nice thick trout. Definitely a lot more action packed than bass fishing. Just wait till you sight cast to one twice that size. It's like buck fever on the water.
