    Hit The Motherload

The local dollar tree changed their flooring in the whole store, all the indoor/outdoor carpet tiles I wanted. Gonna make some permanent targets out of them. Even without them being compressed they stopped my 360 at 20yds with only about 8" of penetration.

Were you shooting into the edge surface or the top/bottom surface? I have a 40" x 40" layered carpet target in the yard I've been shooting a loooonnnnngggg time. I hung a section of stall mat behind the carpet layers, and not a worry. Couple of spots are getting a bit soft and occasionally I have to wrestle an arrow out of the mat.

Shooting into the edges, after I build the frame I'm going to put a puzzle mat on the face so you shoot through the mat into the carpet.

That is an awesome get! You have at least 4 target butts there. Lots of ways to do it, but consider building a frame with two long pieces of all-thread to compress it - it will last for many years.
