Question for Verizon fios & Time warner users

I currently have Verizon, but not real happy about the switch to Frontier. I have a bundle with tv, Internet & land line now. I hate switching things over, but seems like Time Warner is offering a better deal.
Does anyone with Time Warner unhappy with the service & quality?... Thanks

Cant answer as I just dropped TW for antenna

However a coworker just made the switch for that exact reason.
His internet went down and they told him it was going to be 4 days before they could get it fixed. After 2 days of calling with no luck he said screw it and made the change.

Any issues with TW? My internet & phone is down now. It was a pain trying to get a hold of Frontier. Hopefully someone will be out tomorrow to fix it. I'm not holding my breath.

I'm sticking with Frontier (despite some of the horror stories) until they make me not use them. I have called twice to talk about my bill and they lowered everything down by about $65/ month compared to Verizon FIOS. I even talked to Americans.

I made the change to FIOS because cable was absolutely a beating here and always down. That was 2006 and I have been a happy camper since. I hope I don't have to choose between staying with Frontier or going back to cable....My cable experience wasn't much better than what I have read about Frontier. Hopefully they have upped their game if I do have to change.

Have not had a multi day outage in the last couple of years.
Had DTV before that about the same.

My reasons for dropping was strictly financial.

Expect I will play the price game every year with Internet.

I was happy when I switched to Fios & have been happy with it. I'm worried how the switch will work out. I did talk to an American which was nice. Apparently it was a local outage that has been fixed. Timing wise we were down and got info from TW for less. I may need to talk to them about getting the bill lowered. I've heard of a lot of people leaving. Maybe they will deal.

I had fios for years, some how had a week and a half outage that started April first. Couldn't get a single person on the phone that I could understand. Had to get the corporate number through my client at work to get anything done. Technician never showed for my appointment and I called to cancel.

Just got TWC installed at the house again yesterday. Happy so far, price is right. $115 or so per month for tv, 100k Internet and home phone. $300 visa reward card, free installation and 2 year contract price guaranteed.

Had TWC before we switched to fios so well see how this goes, really unfortunate though, I LOVED my fios.

Once Google fiber comes to DFW, I'm can calling whatever I have and just getting that. By then there should be all streaming services for each network.

Head to head comparison of TWC to Fios.....TWC blows! I have every channel they offer and internet. FSSW+ (Rangers and Stars games) just as an example doesn't come in HD or even full screen. There are many more channels that are the same way. Only positive I see between the two is TWC still has Outdoor Channel and Sportsman. The internet isn't terrible but Fios was still better.

Not an issue for AT&T, Direct, Dish, Verizon as TWC seems to be the only one. It's pretty frustrating however my neighborhood has a deal with TWC and it's pretty hard to beat. I believe we pay $111 for 3 dvr boxes, internet, and every channel they offer so currently I'm stuck with it. It's a great deal and cheaper than I would pay with anyone else but we will see how long I stand it.

Yeah....surprising TWC doesn't have it in HD...figured everybody was HD now these days.

I've been with Verizon FIOS since 2006 I believe and have Dish at the lease through my buddy who is a part owner in our cabin.......and I can't imagine going back to watching Rangers and Stars in SD....especially stars game trying to follow the puck.
