if it is an irrevocable trust it is more difficult but should be able to do - if a revocable trust go see a lawyer and they can amend it

In for answers. Here's another along the same line. How do you remove a name?

It all depends how the original trust was setup. I can add or remove trustees (even for just a few day period) at any time with a simple document the lawyer gave me with the trust. They along with the settlers just have to sign in front of a notary to be final.

                  This right here.

I too have a single page document to add or remove a trustee. It's pretty dang basic. But only I and the notary (stamp/date) have to sign the amendment form and it gets attached to the back of my trust. Added my youngest son to it not long after he was born.

It depends on the type of trust. Some trust allow changing trustees and some do not. A blanket statement that a trustee can be changed is not accurate

If you look at who's response I was quoting, you'd see that his first sentence says "depends on how the trust was setup" and wasn't a blanket statement.
