    Carpenter Bees!

Carpenter Bees are attacking my cabin. I really need suggestions ASAP! I have covered a dozen holes. Today I killed 2 dozen with poisen and a board. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Paint it or stain it if there's not some kind of finish on it already...carpenter bees love raw wood

        This worked!

Saw this idea on FB. Tried it last year for carpenter bees on our back porch and it has worked well.

Take a brown paper bag stuff it with something. We used plastic walmart bags. We used a clothes hanger to hang it with. It's supposed to imitate a hornets nest. They are natural enemies.
        It did the job!

I just bought a small fixer upper house last month. Yesterday I noticed bees coming out of a wall. A LOT of them. Had a bee keeper come out today. He said we caught between 20-25,000 bees today!!!

This, Thompson water seal/stain in a pump up sprayer would probably be cheapest and easiest.

I use the following online company for my pest control needs. Just put the type of insect you are trying to control in the search box, and you will get a list of the available insecticides used to treat them. You can read reviews on the products as well. Most of the insecticides are not avaialble at you local big box stores.

This^^^. I had the same issue on my back deck. I filled in am the holes with wood filler and painted all exposed raw wood. Haven't seen one since.
