Gun Vault entry code reset

I need to reset the entry code on my GV1000, but can't get it to go through the sequence in the manual. Instructions seem pretty simple, but it won't let me confirm the code

Getting in wasnt ever an issue, I had the physical keys, just can't seem to get the darn thing to learn the new code
