How do you sell an RV?

Last year, my wife and I bought 21ft 2016 StarCraft Ultra Lite Launch.
Our intention was to travel to the coast, an occasional out state trip and for the hunting lease.
Work has not allowed us to do like we planned and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
Wife asked me if we decided to sell the trailer, how would we go about selling it being we currently have it financed with the bank?
Figured I would try the greenscreen knowledge pool for input.

    Your input is appreciated.

    Thanks

    Uhhhh...
Put a for sale sign on it.
    Sell it.
    Pay off note.
Put remaining money, if any, in your pocket.

Crestview RV put mine back on their lot, sold it for me and took a cut, was sold in a couple of months. I'm sure I left some money on the table but no longer had to store it or show it. I think they even wired the money to the bank for me.

I sold one once that wasn't paid off yet. He handed me a cashiers check and took the trailer. I paid it off and mailed him the title when I got it. I bought the one I have now the same way.

Try to sell it on here. Never know.

or.. put it out for rental and let someone else make the payments.
A lot of RV dealerships/lots will manage that for you.

Lots of dealers have a consignment lot. Or list it here. Or put it on Craigslist. On consignment is probably the easiest way and gets you the most exposure but will cost you a commission.

Check out PPL Motor Homes at www.pplmotorhomes.com or 800-755-4775. They are huge in consignment sales and have locations in Houston, New Braunfels and Cleburne. They will charge a commission but turn most units very quickly.

For one that new, it's probably easiest to do some type of consignment arrangement with a dealer. Although there is a commission involved, you don't have to deal with the hassle of selling it.
