Katy ISD Closed the Rest of the Week

Dear Katy ISD Parents, Staff and Community,

Please be advised that all Katy ISD campuses and school facilities will be closed Thursday, April 21 and Friday, April 22 due to flooding in some areas. The flooding continues to cause infrastructure, mobility and transportation issues for school busses and a significant number of families and staff.

Before and after school activities are also canceled. Essential employees will be notified by their supervisor should they need to report to the District during regular school hours this week.

We will be assessing the situation again later today and tomorrow.

And reports are those days will not have to be made up. Cy Fair just got word so I'm assuming Katy will get the same.
