I've got a knife with a horizontal sheath and I like it. I don't carry it every day though, just when I'm hunting normally. Also have several of the rasp blades and they aren't hard to keep clean. If anything gets in the indentions it'll wash out. Not a problem. Mike Conner is building me another rasp knife as we speak. Can't wait to get my hands on it!!
