Only way I bowhunt. Killed many a critter with a bow from the ground. All but 2 actually.

Pack a pistol and your fears will fade away. I hunt out a pop up a lot and have never worried about. I guess because I've caught a many by hand, tying or stabbing them. Plus I had a finger tip bit off once, so I don't care anymore.

I just set on a chair in the brush. Works great at night.
