A custom sheath for Sailor's daughter

Sailor asked me to make a custom sheath for his daughter's kife that had a carved feather and her initials. I'm going to let Sailor tell you the reason for the feather because I think it's really cool, and it'll sound better coming from him.

In my first attempt at making the sheath, I got the initials mixed up.

If "d'oh!" just went through your head, yeah, that's what I was thinking, too. Sailor was really polite when he told me I had it mixed up. He was trying so hard not to make me feel bad about it! LOL But I just went ahead and whipped out another one with the corrected initials, so it's all good.

I'm going to ship it directly to his daughter in the morning. After hearing Sailor's explanation of the feather, I'm really looking forward to finding out what her reaction will be.

        What a stand up guy......
The reason for the feather was....
Thinking of girls names,we came up with Feather Leigh Ann........
But, on the way for seafood one night, a song came on the radio by the band "Bread"
"And Aubrey was Her Name"....So that's what we settled on...
I always kidded Aubrey about being called Feather.......
So Sam, came up with the perfect sheath, for her knife.......LOL
The little redneck,is just gonna love it......
When I told Sam he got the initials wrong.....The man went right to work, and turned
out another, outstanding piece of craftsmanship..No questions asked.....
        Quality work,for a quality gent.....Thanks Sam...well.done.

That wasn't the wrong initials, it was a monogram

                  Looks great and great story.

I dated a girl named Aubrey in college and used to play that song on my guitar for her. She liked Diary better...go figure.
