We had a group of pigs move in a couple of months ago, I was picking off the big sows with the 17HMR. I had shot 18 before this morning, I built a trap a couple of weeks ago and was baiting it every day. I had 23 pigs coming to the trap every day so last nigh I set the trap. This morning I had all 23 in the trap!!! I called a buddy and the war was on. We managed to shoot 15 and 8 little ones escaped. So 33 pigs will no longer be rooting up the property. To say I am happy is an understatement.

What round do you use in the .17

16 Grain CCI. I have shot a lot of different rounds and my gun likes the 16 grain CCI the best. I can put that round in which ever nostril you choose form 100 plus yards.
