    Ford Xplan Pricing Question

Okay so how exactly does this plan work?

The girlfriends company allows her the opportunity to do this and we are trying to figure out how exactly it works. She said there's a Xprice list next to the MSRP list and there's only about a 5% discount.... So is that it? Just 5% off MSRP because if so the sticker price will be lower then that....?

Or do you tack that on with other rebates?

I've found very little on google and the only thing that has seemed to have help is it is based of the dealers invoice?

    Thanks ahead of time guys

X plan is not much but better than nothing. I believe A and Z offer the best discounts.

What was posted above is spot on. You can still deduct the rebates as well. I have used min a couple of times and it has worked well.

I've checked the x plan vs what dealers are dealing and the x plan was a joke. Your company should have a code to put in the website that will show you prices of the vehicle.

Anyone can get the x plan just by knowing about it and telling them you want it, going at the end of the month helps too.

When I bought my wife an Escape the X Plan offered us good pices, plus rebates and the best interest rates. If they offered 0% financing for so many years or $5000 cash back, the X Plan came with both, no questions ask. It may be different now as that Escape was in 03.

When we bought the wife's escape in 2008 they told us the deals they were running were better than X-Plan so we ended up not even using it.

Xplan is only good on vehicles that have crazy markups. Specialty cars like the GT500/GT350 that sells for over MSRP. You should be able to walk into about any dealership and get better than Xplan pricing

We used the Ford X plan in 2011 when I bought my F-150. I don't recall the specifics other than the price I got was better than what dealers were willing to negotiate down to before I brought up the plan. I looked at the X plan pricing now and the program has softened its benefit substantially. Most trucks were $1k off sticker. I would check your plan price before heading to the dealership but at $1k off MRSP I wouldn't even bother bringing it up.

It's a Ford, they'd have to pay me to drive one.
