    Congested every morning

Does any body wake up congested in the morning? I have noticed every morning im waking up and have to blow my nose every morning and I am wonder why. I even wake up like this offshore where I believe there is no pollen we are bout 150 miles. Any info would be good PS I am not a fan of goin to the DR. I do not smoke or anything either.

Sounds like something on the rig you are allergic to. Does it go away once you're back on land?

I suffered with that mess about a month ago. Started as allergies/post nasal drip with a constant cough that wouldn't stop. Got shots, that didn't work, then turned into a sinus infection and a round of antibiotics. Those didn't work, and turned into upper respiratory infection/bronchitis with fever. More antibiotics and prednisone steroid pack, more cough medicine, and finally cleared up after 2.5 weeks. Watch out for that chest congestion, that can turn bad in a hurry.

My guess would be an allergy to dust mites on mattress/pillow. That gets me pretty good.

it goes away in the morning after I start moving around and so every matter or pillow I sleep on has that much dust. I sleep at a lot of different location and I always wake up the same way

Take you a Benadryl. It helps me a lot!

Same with me every morning, I get up blowing my nose and by time I leave for work it is gone. Just sinuses letting you know they are working fine.

You're definitely allergic to something that is triggering you're symptoms. I would suggest trying an OTC antihistamine like Zyrtec or Clariton on a daily basis, and use Benadryl to recover from acute symptoms. You can also do a sinus rinse each night to flush your sinus'.
