This reminds me on what a former pastor of mine used to say in regards to people saying they don't have to go to church to be close to God...
"True, and I don't have to go home at night to my wife to still be married to her. However, if I don't, you can bet there will be problems at home."

yeah, I"m Catholic and I like how the priest describes the Church as the bride groom and Jesus, her groom...The Church is the body, Jesus being the head of the Church...a body cannot live without it's head, and a head, cannot live without it's body...

I didn't start going to church till about 18years ago, rules for marrying an only child in a faithful Catholic family...thank God I did...now I'm a functioning member as I serve on ACTS Teams as a music minister...love it!
