My GF and I are having problems seeing clearly through the mesh in the popup blinds. We are both nearsighted and was wondering if being nearsighted affects seeing clearly through the mesh for anyone else at 20-30 yards? Any ideas other than taking the mesh down? Also thinking about something else we could put up to make it easier to see more clearly? Thanks Jason Slocum

I can't see through mesh very well either, especially if it's bright outside. (having the blind well shaded helps some) I'm quite near sighted myself - that might be part of the problem. I finally gave up. I followed tuthdocs advice and cut diamond shaped holes to shoot through. Cut a vertical slit in the middle of the window and pull each side back and secure it with zipties. Works great and it doesn't seem to bother the deer at all from what I can tell.

I don't know about nearsightedness but there could be a few ways to make it better. Which direction is your pop up facing? If ypu can get the sun behind you it will be much better. Another option is to get in a shady area where the sun is blocked from the mess. You can always go without it and where all black. This works fine in most cases but is not as concealing with scent and movement.
