Please tell me my sin didn't mess up my 4 wheeler worse than what it was....A few weeks ago it wouldn't start but would make a clicking sound when the start button was pressed. Figured it was the starter solenoid since I've had that go out before so I got a new one and changed it out but it still did the same. Talked to a friend and he said could be battery. Said to jump it off a vehicle battery and if it started then that would tell me is was a bad battery. Well I been working a lot and haven't had time to try it, so today my son took a battery out one of the vehicles and connected jumper cables from the auto battery to the 4 wheeler battery and tried to start it. Now nothing happens when you turn the key to the on position. Before the lights on the handlebars would come on, now there is nothing, not even the clicking sound. Any ideas what happened from him doing this? Did he short something out? I hope and pray its nothing major.

Did he by chance hook it up wrong & blow a fuse or two? -
if he hooked it up correct positive to positive etc it would not hurt anything...
!2 volts is 12 volts doesn't matter if its atv battery or car batteryComment
