    Good day of bassin

Junior and I scooped up my dad this morning and hit the lake. Been at least 5 or 6 years since I've fished this lake and found em in the same spots.

The bite was finicky for the most part without the tale tell bump bump thump. Between the 3 of us we boated between 30 and 40 bass from 7 till about 3 all on plastics. At one point we caught a dozen from under 2 boats throwing live bait while they picked up 2.

3 doubles and junior thought he had a toad when he stuck this whisker fish

No secrets here. Fish are there all year. Throwing the right color is key [emoji3]

Good day on the water and the CC 21 footer bassed with the 70k rangers,Z9s and allisons with ease.

Awesome! 3 generations out together, it don't happen often but it's priceless when it does.

Great day. Great photos. It ain't about the boat. It's about the captain.

This captain caught "flak" for steering the trolling motor for all the "dumb" fish. I think grandpaw don't like getting out fished [emoji3]

I'm sure we were heard across the lake several times laughing at each other

I remember fishing it twice a week in middle 90s. Dad and I caught 147 fish in one day back then. I went 17 fish for 17 casts that day. Same color we fished yesterday. 3 for 3 was yesterday's record.

The guy in the red and white Allison with the 300 pro xs yesterday had em dialed in. I watched him boat 10 or 12, take a 30 minute nap to wake up and catch 2 in 3 casts. At the same time 5 or 6 other boats within 100 yards didn't boat a fish.
