Sprint Bass Boats, Good or bad?

I'm looking at gettin a 2002 16' Sprint bass boat but don't know much about them. It's in great condition and runs great. Just have been in one.

What say the green screen.

Buddy had an 18'. Fished out of a many of times. I give it a 6 on a scale of 10 on rough water handle. I'm used to a bigger boat though. Everything held up pretty well to his abuse and the guys hard on stuff.

Buddy had a sprint. Coming across Conroe in ruff water and the whole left side broke off. I'm talking a hole u could crawl thru. Maybe 6'×3'. It was under warranty and sprint didnt want to do anything about it. Insura ce wouldnt either since they said it should be a warranty claim. It wad a big mess. I rode in it a couple times. It was a ruff riding boat.

I don't have experience with the bass boats but had a 2001 sprint pro master CC. Not a very well built boat. Some stringers fell over wound up with huge crack in the hull guess due to flexing the hull.

Unless you're getting a STEAL of a deal, where you can afford to rebuild the stringers if/when it comes apart, I'd look elsewhere. Just my opinion

I had one and liked it just fine. It was not a skeeter or champion, but I did not spend anywhere near as much money on it as one of the others costs!

I had a Sprint bassboat once and the only problem I had with it was there was no drain from the top deck to the bottom where it could drain out. Probably covered up by carpet but I didn't have it very long.
