Question on well water development for commercial use

I came across a property for sale with a well that is producing 600gpm. Details on well-50ft deep with 30 ft of flowing water and using a 140hp pump. I don't know jack about wells but this sounds like a opportunity to maybe develop this well for commercial use. Thoughts on well volume? Has anybody sold water before? Thanks

That's a lot of water..... You must be in an underground river. To be only 50 feet that has to be an underground river.

I read about underground rivers while I was reading about Texas rule of capture. Those would be owned by state but as of yet none had been identified

Have checked on electrical cost of a 140hp? That's a pretty big pump, I would suspect it uses a lot of electricity. That's getting into the oil well sub pump category.

None of those numbers make sense. I'd be leery of the deal if that is what is being stated by the seller.

find it on map and see the drillers report that was sent to state.

At one time they irrigated fields with it.

I did find out he has a permit from county GCD for 30 million gallons a year commercial use.

Our electricity bill just to have the juice available to push a 90hp pump was $3500 as I recall. That did not count the juice if we ran it. Cheaper, I think, to buy a genny to run it when needed. If you are in fraccing country and have a surface pit big enough, there's probably some money in it. If you don't have enough surface capacity, they probably won't buy from you unless you lowball everybody else.

I sell water at $0.50 barrel. Takes about 110,000 bbl to frac a well to my customer.
