Negotiate with pipeline company?

It has been discussed and you should find some threads on it. My suggestion would to get a lawyer. Yes they will negotiate but you will want a lawyer to handle this. It is money well spent and I do not regret it. There are a lot of rights and rules involved with pipeline companies because once done, they basically own that section going through your property. My pops tripled the going rate (paid to landowners around him), by using a lawyer (long time family friend), who bundled dad with other deals / landowners totalling different than my pops as part of a overall negotiation.
