The deer at our farm seem to like our alfalfa stacks. The deer will actually climb on top, chow down and leave a nice deep rut of a trail across the top of the loaf stacks. About the only thing they like better than the alfalfa is the cornfield!

Does a deer crap in the woods. They love it. I am sure if I took some time to go through gam can pics and video I could come up with a ton of pics of wt MUNCHIN DOWN on it. We feed it a lot in the winter.

I'll take a picture of the alfalfa stack in our field. It looks like a loak of bread with the split top. That's from the deer walking across it! I've seen deer in the dark on top of the stack but don't have any pics of them on it.

OK, I will be different here. Yes and no. We have 3-4 alfalfa feeders out this year and the deer seem to almost ignore them. I know they like it and will eat it but this year they didn't see to care for it that much in the San Angelo area. ???????

I have more but this one was already formatted. In the DYI section there is a thread on Alf-alpha hay feeders where I loaded quite a few deer eating from the feeders.
