    Finally bit the bullet

I finally decided to buy a brand new truck. It was a hard decision for me, I'm not one to buy new things. I'm also not one to really care for all the bells and whistles. I just wanted one that fit my needs and would last a long time. It's a 2016 Ram 1500 Ecodiesel! But needless to say I'm pretty pumped. I also can write most of it off since I use my truck for work so I figured now is better than ever. Getting it back from the leather shop on Tuesday/Wednesday. I'm ready to see those 30mpgs, pretty big improvement from 19.

On the same but seperate note I'll be putting up my 1997 ram 1500 up for sale in the classifieds. It would make for a good ranch/work truck!

Congrats! After market leather is the way to go 100 times better than standard.

You might want to try out some of those bells and whistles. They're pretty nice....

Really I just wanted the big center console but I didn't want to spend the money on a Laramie. So I got them to get the seats leathered for $1000 more.

Yeah it's really weird. I have a 20 year old truck with roll down windows and doors that you had to lock by hand. I feel pretty spoiled with just a remote clicker. I also didn't have cruise control. Now It's got a touch screen, remote start, electric seats, electric windows, Bluetooth, MP3, a crap ton of buttons on the steering wheel, and a rear camera. It's really weird feeling getting in it. I really didn't even get a chance to play around with anything.

Yes way better quality "thicker" last longer and cheaper than factory leather.

look up Green Diesel Engineering. I had my computer reprogrammed by them. night and day difference, and I'm getting a LOT better fuel mileage in town. I average nearly 24 in town now (23.7) and 28 on the highway.
WAY more power. turbo lag at stop lights is gone.
