Game Camera Setup

Had some spare parts laying around and thought i would build a battery solar panel setup for my game camera. Anyone else build these? old spinner box for the battery holder with conduit to go to solar panel and also camera with 12v cord. shouldnt have to replace batteries ever and can take as many movies or pictures as i like.

Been quite a few threads on these solar panel game cam set ups around here. That looks like it will work for sure.

Not discounting your build...but I've stopped worrying about battery life with the newer game cams as I think the technology is so advanced now versus what it used to be. Unless you are using to power a wireless text-you game came where it's constantly looking for cell service and utilizing a lot of video I personally don't see the need for battery backup.

I use nothing but lithium batteries in my cams now and a 16gb SD card fills up before the battery life goes out in the things.
