Lake Charles to New Orleans, where to eat?

Buncha Texas boys are hungry what's good on the way down?

I would hit the Landrys at the Breaux Bridge Exit, it's right on I-10.

    2942 Grand Point Highway
Ext 115, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517

If you have never been to Middendorf's and had their catfish you need to make the stop. Yes it is a little out of your way but it is on the way to New Orleans. They fry it thin and crispy and it is delicious.

          From Baton Rouge
          Take I-12 E – Approximately 38 miles
Merge onto I-55 Via Exit 38A toward New Orleans
          Take Exit 15 toward Manchac
          Turn Left
          Turn Right onto Old US-51
Turn Left onto Mary Reno Lane
          End at Middendorf’s Seafood Restaurant

Steamboat bills is great. We like to pick up a few links of boudin from Rabidoux's as well.

Fezzo's exit 97 Scott, La ... Next to Cajun Harley Davidson

                Char-grilled oysters are always good

Then load up on cracklins and pepper jack stuffed boudin balls from Billy's at same exit

Dons and Best Stop also at same exit

I was hoping you'd chime in! Y'all, steamboat bills is freakin awful. Learn what Cajun food is supposed to taste like. To hell with that tourist trap.
