Need labor for french drain - Tyler

Anyone in/around the Tyler/Noonday area have a small backhoe, trencher or excavator for hire? Or anyone know a group of 3-4 hardworking guys that want to make some cash on Saturday or Sunday?

Purchasing a home in the very near future and one of the first things that we are going to do is put in a French drain as there is standing water in the front yard when it rains.

The house is actually in Noonday, but has a Flint address.

If there's standing water where you plan on digging the ditch, may want to wait until the hot summer when everything dries out before bringing in a mini-excavator or any equipment.

Also, before you scratch the surface, call in a Dig-Tess. Dial 811 from your cell phone to have any and all lines located.

Where at in Noonday? I live in the same area.

I know, just thought I would offer a GS’er some work before I went that route. And I have no trailer.

The ground is pretty sandy soil, but it seems to hold standing water for about a day after a heavy rain. When it holds water, its standing in the driveway and the sidewalk up to the front door. Already filled out the 811 online. Its off of Big Eddie going towards the Village’s boat ramp

Be sure to use hard perforated piping instead of going with the corrugated type. We've not had many good experiences using the corrugated type.

I'm a little south of you towards Brookshires. Hollar at me when you get moved in.
