    UTV Towing Question

What size trailer is needed to pull a Ranger crew and a regular sized Ranger? I'm thinking it can be done with an 18' but not positive.

18ft would be plenty. I have a 14ft and it works fine on Crew UTV's

I think he is wanting to tow both on the same trailer. I don't think an 18' is going to be long enough to do that. I used to tow a Rhino and Rzr on an 18' together and it just about filled it up.

In my head I was thinking I could back the crew on first. Then pull the regular on normal so they are facing each other but wasn't sure an 18 would get it done.

you could look at the wheelbase length for each then add a little for front bumper on each and that would get you pretty close to the length you would need

Gotcha. 18' wont be long enough. Ranger crew is 12ft and regular is 9ft

I don't see it happening once you figure in bumpers unless you have a lot of over hang.

I have a 20' with a side gate and I can put a 4 wheeler sideways, then a Rhino in the middle and a another 4 wheeler side ways. I have to man handle the last 4 wheeler to turn it side ways on the back with very little room on the trailer for coolers, etc.
Your probably going to need a 24' trailer.

I pull 2 crews on my 26' with not much room for movement. I don't think an 18' is going to work for you. You will most likely need at least 22' and even then its still going to be tight.

18' definitely won't work. I've seen it done so I know it's doable just trying to wrap my head around the logistics.

                        2 crews will fit on a 24.

The 800 crew is 145" long and going off the specs for the 900 single seat, it is 116" long. You are going to need a minimum of 22' to fit both and id go 24' to be comfortable. If you back the crew over the front rail and let the bed overhang, you might could get away with 21', but i wouldnt chance it. Looks lime 24' is the magic number especially if you add any bumpers to the bikes!

Only if you back one on and overhang the fron rail. My '13 crew wont fit on a 12' trailer with a gate unless i do it that way and it is REALLY tight. Add a rear bumper and you can forget it fitting on a standard 12' trailer!
