So I was on pig patrol this evening, came across about 15 pigs. This sow looked like she was about to give birth to several others. I was just on a recon mission and really didn't want to shoot because I am going to set a trap. Knowing she was about to give birth to several others I had to shoot, again I didn't want to but i was torn between shoot her and kill 1 to 15 or let it ride and deal with them later. So I lined up on her ear with my 17 HMR, as you can see, I MISSED the ear! I really don't know where I hit her, but this is the exit wound....... from a 17HMR at about 60 yards. 16 grains of pig killing no doubt about it, DRT machine! this makes number 15 in the past 45 or so days.
