I Always Get Skunked By Does!

Why is it that when I'm only hunting a buck I'll see a dozen does, but when I actually want to shoot a doe I get skunked? I've been wanting to take a doe for a party I've got planned for my band tomorrow night. Now I'm gonna have to thaw out most of what's in my freezer because after 5 doe hunts I've never even gotten close to a shot! Deer are so inconsiderate sometimes!

I feel your pain! I have this one doe that apparently has my number. She has come in to the stand twice only to get nervous at the last minute and slink off never offering a shot opportunity.

thats when you start carrying a rifle when its rifle season....if they blow at you? light em up!!!!! you gotta grow big dumb deer...not smart ones

I feel yopur pain also!! We got hogs EVERYWHERE but Ive been tryin to get one with my bow and they ALWAYS dodge me!! Cant get em in to my location while there no matter what stand I hunt!!

lol. my thoughts exactly. any doe that blows when she can NOT smell me and can NOT see me is a dead doe walking if she slips and gives me a shot.

I Have yet to even see a deer while in my stands... Hope it changes this coming weekend
