I was at Academy today a fella was talking about the cost of Fall Protection Harness. Short version We ended up at a Pawn shop down the road and got a harness with lanyards and tension relief straps for $35.00. Don't be Dumb get a harness. Inspect a used one good, wash it paint over the shiny stuff and use it. If you don't know to check one out there are plenty of web sites that show you how. When you wash air dry no dryers.

The price of a safety harness is negligible, but the cost of not having one is too high for me to risk!

I wear one in my ladderstands, but not in the tripods--nothing to tie off to.
