    Abilene Zoo

Took the kids to the zoo yesterday, maybe I'm missing something but this doesn't seem accurate.

I have some in my back yard that look identical. In fact, I've always referred to them as ring necks.

Well that's my point, they are Eurasian collard dove. Definitely not only in captivity, or am I wrong?

Old old sign probably put up back when my grandma bought-raised-sold them, and I'm sorry to anyone that has problems with them, I'm pretty sure grandma was a major contributor of what is running wild out there these days.

          Started in captivity here.

We have both ringnecks and Eurasians in Texas.

See those are the answer I'm looking for...

Definitely not just in captivity correct?

It is not stated correctly but they are trying to say the Eurasian collered dove is a domestic animal, not a wild species of animal. The doves that are not in captivity are feral animals not wild animals.
