Best Tool for Rattlesnakes??!!

Minus gun or bow, what is the best "tool" to kill a Rattlesnake? I'm assuming it has to be long to keep your distance, but i may be wrong!

I use this one. Anything around 4ft is good. You can drag them out and do what you want with them. I tend to like to keep them alive but it allows you to control them if you are into cutting off their heads.
