Question about installing a lift kit on F150

I've got a 2014 F-150 XLT and am thinking about putting a lift kit/bigger wheels and tires on it. I don't want much of a lift and am thinking maybe a 3" lift. Any suggestions on the best kits and what would it generally cost to install? Thanks

I did a 2.5" leveling kit with rear blocks on mine. I run 34.8" tires and I am real happy with it. It didn't break the bank and looks great. I have a 2013.

I did a 2" leveling kit on the front and a 1.5" on the back. I run 35-12.5-r17 and they barely rub the air dam. Bought the kits from topguncustomz.com

Mine's a little older (2006). I started with a leveling kit and ran that for about 100K miles. Then I had a 4" BDS lift kit installed. I've got 228K miles now and have no complaints. I like the lift. With the lift I originally ran Toyo Open Country MT's (34x11.50) for a while. The price on them just got too high, so now I'm running Cooper STT Pro's. I liked the looks of the Toyo's better, but have zero complaints on these Coopers. If you are only going 3", I would stick with a leveling kit. I think you may even be able to get some Bilstiens and raise it up a little. As for cost, I think the lift kit was around $2000 installed. Could have been less, I can't remember that far back.

Forgot to mention...I'm running an autospring. They sell them on eBay. Great company. I've had them on my last two f150's with no issues.

2.5" level kit on 35". Trimmed the front valance initially, but added a ranch hand.
