He's my buddy. He clearly stated that it wasn't a big one on his Facebook page. The dude has killed a ton of snakes.

Lay 'em on the tailgate. Only way to get true pic of size.

Why are those sticks they are holding the snakes with 15ft long?

I wouldn't hold that thing close to me even with a pole. The further away the better for me. I could careless what anyone on here thinks about the pic.

Bigger than that one. Both Diamondbacks and Prairie Rattlers. Of course it looks big to you. It's close to the camera. If people don't have the nuts to hold them or lay it on the tailgate of a pickup, the reality of it is they don't have any business messing with them in the first place.

I'll shoot one on sight and let it lay. Your right, no need in me messing with it after that. [emoji6] The only good snake is a dead one.

Found 12 non-rattlebug snakes in about 30 minutes earlier. All of the laying on sunny sandbars along the creeks sunning and waiting on a bull frog buffet.

Yep, ruined the skin. But this one needs to shed and should have been caught live and held for a couple of weeks before it was killed. It would look like a completely different rattlesnake with brilliant color markings.

I killed a 5 footer today. Rolled up on me when I was filling feeders. Only took one magazine of
.45 to kill him dead enough.
