I am wanting to get new arrows to hunt with. So far I have only hunted with the Beman ICS Hunter arrow with a 400 spine (they were the arrows that the guy at the archery place where I live said that I should shoot so I have been using them ever since I've been bowhunting which is 2 years now).
I have a 28" draw length and am pulling back/shooting in the 65-67 lb. range. Every arrow chart that I've looked at so far says that I should be shoot an arrow with a spine of 340.
So two questions...
1. Why would the guy give me arrows to shoot that I technically shouldn't be shooting for my specifications?
2. What are yalls opinions (for those of you who are close to me in poundage and draw length) on what arrows y'all think would be best to shoot?
