Enjoyed him and his brother growing up and as a kid. These days not so much. Too many informercials. Truthfully I don't watching many hunting and fishing shows anyway these days.

Haven't watched any of his shows in years, but I have hunted and fished with him. He was fun to be around and a pretty cool guy. Sometimes, it seemed he would be the only guy in camp that would kill something. Lady luck always seemed to roll his way.
His wife was always real nice too. I stopped by his office one day and his producer showed me a video of a show they shot in Ks. This show was never aired. Some friends of mine took him on a muzzleloader deer hunt up there. Since the deer movement was slow that week he was there, they decided to play a prank on him with the camera rolling. There was a tree they knew about that at a certain distance and angle, it looked like a bobcat sittin up there. Long story short, he emptied everything he had in his bag shooting at this "knot" in that tree, then running back to his truck to get some more rounds. It was funny as hell.
But, like any other show, if you don't like it or him, just change the channel!!

This. I've hunted with him several times in Mexico. He was always a hoot to be around.

When I finally got the sportsman and outdoor channel, I started watching it quite a bit at nights. There are a number of shows on those channels that I don't care to watch. It usually is less about the hunt or the method of hunt, but more about the personality of the hunter.

He's running his Stoneledge hunting resort, and he has an outdoors radio show on Saturdays.

Stream Alan Warren Outdoors free online. Alan Warren Outdoors is a nationally syndicated Outdoor TV and Radio Show. Alan also owns Texas' Stone Ledge Ranch and is a strong advocate for Outdoor Education classes for our Youth.

Keith isn't a bad guy, from the dealings I've had with him. Went to school with his son, and he was an extremely intelligent and kind man.

Seems like a nice enough guy but his style of hunting show just doesn't do anything for me...

"We scouted hard the past few days and found a place where a bunch of aoudad were hanging out"

Yeah dude... I can see the corn on the ground... it's called a feeder... lol
Nothing wrong with hunting from a feeder but don't pretend it's something it isn't...

Loved Fishing Texas as a kid. Growing up without cable it was about the only fishing/hunting show you could get on local channels.

Back in the late '80's, I "guided" the Warren brothers while they were making episodes for their show "Fishing Texas". We were on the Coyote Ranch at Sabinal, owned by the Nunley Brothers. Fishing in the tanks on the ranch at that time was awesome. I sat in the truck or sometimes waded the bank and fished a bit. They would fish for about an hour, catch 15-20 bass, then come back to he truck and change clothes and go back and do it again. Tey changed clothes several times that day because they were filming several episodes. It appeared that each episode was a different day, but in fact it was all shot within about 5 or 6 hours. That's when I realized that hunting and fishing shows were staged productions and not what really happened.

I haven't seen Keith's show in the last several years but remember really enjoying his hunting show when I use to watch years back. I know Alan also bought Big Chief RV Resort on Lake Buchanan, saw him there last summer when we stayed there a couple days.
