That would be around 60 hr's of dozer time.

You want to find a small owner operator for this kind of work.

We had a 7 acre pond done for about $10k 4 years ago. 15' at the deepest part and 2'-3' shallow.

Where we live it is about 12-15k for a 1/2 acre Pond, this includes moving dirt on the land and spreading it.
My pond cost closer to 30k, but the guy that had it done had deep pockets and alot of equipment out there. Built up the whole 6 acres 2 feet above grade and done a 40x70 shop pad with 100x100 house pad 4 foot above grade.
Here are a few pics of it...keep in mind it is in my front yard. 20ft deep, has some shapes and different depths about 3/4 acre

18 yard scrapper at 150.00 an hour. If you dug it 8ft deep probably take him a week. Around 10,000.00. Actually 4ft deep with 4ft bank=8 ft deep. Spreading out the dirt going to cost a lot more. Then you might need bentonite so it will hold water.Last edited by RMW; 03-23-2016, 11:29 AM.

Aerial View....See the Pond in Top left Corner? A friend of mine did not listen, hired some jack leg to "run" a dozer to do his now he has a 1/2 acre Mud Hole and it cost 12k. Its only 6 ft deep and will never be clear. Plus it cost him extra on dirt work when he built his house because there were hug voids under the dirt where the Dozer track were.....If you want a mud hole in the ground thats fine, BUT to have a nice LOOKING pond you need to get someone with experience.
