I have but do not always take it with me. What airline are you flying and do you have any specific questions? It is very simple.
We fly Untied 99% of the time. I have checked my shotgun multiple times to fly to Nebraska, but have never checked my Concealed Weapon (For those who are a little slow this morning ). We are flying to Nashville this weekend ( I haven't check to see if a Texas CHL is applicable yet). As of now, I plan on taking it. I am open to any suggestions, but assumed it is the same as checking my shotguns in the past?
Who is allowed to bring it in their carry on? LEOs only?
I know CHL holders are not allowed but curious who is allowed.
LEO can ask permission to, but you have to get approval from the chief among other things, and you're probably never going to get it unless your flying in uniform in official business of something crazy.
If it is concealed or carry weapon, I have to check it because I am not LEO. If it is chicken wings, I usually don't eat them. Chronic Wasting, I worry about it when hunting out of state and I check the areas I am hunting.
