Need help with repairing aluminum mower deck

Wondered why the wheel height adjustment lever wasn't working as it should. It wouldn't stay set in any position.

After taking off the wheel and then the lever and pivot arm, I found the problem. The piece of aluminum that was broken on one end fell off.

How hard is it going to be for someone to weld this aluminum piece back on properly?

Look up your local prop shops/ boat repair places and give them a call

Looks like cast aluminum. That can be tricky. Most machine shops have someone who can handle that repair, but it might not be worth it.

                  Got it fixed.

Would like to buy some more of these older eXmark Metro 21's that were made prior to the new design change. The older design has steel wheels with replaceable tires. The new design has plastic wheels.
