    Side by side owners..

Anyone ever put a high rack on their side by side? My dad just got on a fancy lease down in south Texas and they only allow jeeps or side by side when its been raining. He is looking at side by sides and was trying to figure out if he could put a high rack on one.

You can put them on Polaris Rangers all day long, I've ridden in a Kubota with a high rack as well. But I'm partial to Polaris.

We run high racks on 3 Ranger Crews and a Ranger. No problems.

I had a Mule, gave it to my son, that had a high rack mounted in the back. It also had a shooting pad for rifles mounted on the roof. The way we had it designed, you could still put feed, etc. under the support platform so no loss of space. The only thing I would have done different is have 2 chairs that would turn completely to all views instead of the bench, padded seat! I wish I had a pic and I believe you would be impressed. It did NOT affect performance as the rack was no taller than the cab cover. Wish I still had it....just design it thinking of all the specs to make it work great and you should be very pleased, we were!

My buddy and I built this one for my Kubota and it works good. You can flip the rack and hunt from the back as well. These machines are so heavy that it does not effect the center of gravity too much but I would not go any higher personally.

yes you can but let me sound like your parents for a minute! Be Careful!!! I have witnessed 2 wrecks involving rangers with high racks. One involved life flight and the flight nurse said they lost the girl 3 times on the way to the hospital. She was coughing up her lungs, said she has never seen anyone survive an accident that caused the patent to caught up lung matter. Speed was the contributing factor along with a lot of weight up high dramatically changing the center of gravity.

I have one on my 4010 mule. Built it out of 1 inch square tubing. Holds up very well with 2 grown men. I am not a fan of riding in it. But works great as a portable blind

The weight of the Kubota and its low center of gravity makes it the safest i have a Kubota RTV900X, your pop will be very happy with the diesel motor. Polaris is a great machine as is the mule but i love my kubota, get the hydrolic dump bed that way there is oops on clips rattling loose and flipping passengers out backwards,

a high rack on a sxs is still about the the height of sitting in the seats on a jeep lol. tell him to get a jeep. safer, cheaper, higher.

No worries about that, we know the dangers of high racks.. A buddy and I fell out of one when we were younger, no more goofing off, we were luck that there was cactus to break our fall!! Plus my dad is old and he'll be careful on it, especially if he has his dog riding around with him.

Thanks for all the info fellas!
