And yes, the technology has helped us on a few occasions when some dirt bag decided to steal a truck. We have recovered them all, even one with the help of TBH that was sitting in Austin.
Very cool

Shift change at refineries will cause most of the problems. My guy came through around noon and made good time, the map shows it jammed up now from the bridge almost to Johnson Bayou High School which is about half way to Holly Beach.
You can use google map and hit the traffic function and it will show you red, orange, and yellow where the slow downs are. Waze will do the same thing.Last edited by Tmag; 03-16-2016, 03:41 PM.

I10 closing at TX and LA line
I made it from Houston to Lake Charles last night around 7pm just before they closed I10.
Texas side.
Texas welcome center
Louisiana welcome center
Louisiana pasture
I left Lake Charles at 2:45 this afternoon. Hwy 27 moved pretty well, but Hwy 87 was a parking lot...literally.
There were 3 accidents over a 10 mile span. With no where for the traffic to go we were parked for an hour.
I didn't make it to the MLK bridge in Port Arthur until a little after 6pm. Even with all of the delays it took around the same amount of time to get back to Houston as the shortest route had I headed for a northern crossing.Last edited by TradAg02; 03-16-2016, 08:20 PM.

I was afraid of that. That route is not designed for that kinda traffic.
