Very few broadhead will not fly good. Some just take a little more adjustments. Muddy is a little one sided about broadheads. Bad thing I'm standing right beside him haha.

I would not worry about your broadheads at this point. Once all is fixed. Then we will change your mind on what heads to use

Montecs fly really. Well enough that if you change to say, a muzzy mx 3, you will notice a difference even if the montecs hit field points. Are you right handed or left? I know if the broadheads consistently hit to the right being a right handed shooter, many will say either a weak spine or poor form. I would shoot through some paper. If you can't make it happen with moving your rest then you have a spine issue. Or you have a form issue. Shoot a bare shaft at your field point group if it hits right go up in spine to a 300 or try an 80 grain point. Or you could shorten a little. If hits high or low move nocking point accordingly.

Several damaged arrows they group we'll for me but can't get the field tips to hit where the broads are hitting but the fields group great also just 4"to the left

If none of that works, look at rats thread for fine tuning your draw length. Great info there. Form can suffer greatly from a 1/2" off on drawlenght. That thread made me second guess my on draw length. Glad I was good!

29" will stiffen it up and help put you in a better dynamic spine situation. Don't get me wrong on the Montec, a ton of guys use them, love them and swear by them. I shot them years ago, didn't like the flight. Like I said just me but some heads are a little more finicky than others especially if the the tune isn't good on the bow, not shooting enough fletching etc.... If you like them you should be able to make them work I would start with stiffening up your arrows. Or like I said in a previous post turn the draw weight down as this will do the same as shortening the shaft to create a stiffer dynamic reaction. This will allow you test Rat's hypothesis on a weak spine reaction without cutting stuff.

He is new to tuning. Bare shaft is not what a person needs to do in the beginning.

Just on the record that I absolutely hate montec broadheads. My short go with them I noticed they flew great. As fast as you wanted to push them they would perform. Though, I e hit deer right in the pump station and they were hard to find. A couple of times I followed the running track to the deer and with a pass through there wasn't even any blood where it was laying dead . But they fly great for me.

Turn the bow down 1 full turn top and bottom. If you see improvement, it will confirm a spine issue.
