What would you Shoot

Buddy and I split a ram hunt we bought at the Bulverde Lions Club Wild Game Dinner last Friday. Question I have is, which ram would you shoot? I get the choice of Texas Dahl, Corsican, or Black Hawaiian. Which taste better and or looks the best. Never thought I would be hunting rams but was to good a deal to pass up.

Texas Dall looks the best in my experience they are about the same on the table old ones can be pretty rough

I'd go for the Corsican or Texas Dall

All are fun to hunt and would bet they all taste similar. I'd find the one with biggest horns and not worry as much about color/species. The bigger the better they look, regardless of color, to me.

Biggest is best. After processing them in to sausage, jerky etc...I wouldn't pass up the meat ever again.

Yall do realize that these are all the same exact sheep, just in different "color" phases right? All are derivatives of the Barbado sheep. Black color ones are called "Black Hawaiian", white ones are called "Texas Dall", and multicolor ones (black and brown with a little white) are called "Corsican". Most are so crossed up between Barbado and Mouflon and other domestic sheep it gets really hard to tell sometimes....
