Yup but the window to pull this off, is very small. Once we get into June and July - those baby whitetail don't go down easily.
Hogs will catch and eat anything, that doesn't fight back.
She's got a crap load of piglets to feed.....after she eats Bambi.
Bobcats, coyotes and even Cara Cara - the whitetail newborn is easy pickings!

I shot a big bore some years ago. He was too big to be good for anything so I took his head and left him for the yotes. Came back to where I left him lay a few days later and as I expected only bones and fur were left. Figured the yotes had a good meal, but upon closer inspection I noticed that there were no coyote prints left by where the remnants lay. There were however a lot of pig hoove marks. They'll even eat their own.
