PayPal Claim...anyone ever had to?

I used paypal once in my life and thats all i will ever do it. It was a royal pain. I was sent a broken piece of electronics sold as new and it wasnt since it already had somone elses cd jammed in it. I returned it to the sender...he signed for it...but since it was not an authorized address they said i couldnt get my money back....even though he requested me to send it there and i had tracking and proof. I can see why they got sued. It just left a bitter taste in my outh wondering how many times that radio had been sold. Paypal was useless in my opinion. I wish you the best of luck though

Yes, I have filed a claim with Paypal and after the 30 day whatever they wait on, I got my money back. Little drawn out but justice was served.

Lost my $$ with the jokers at Paypal and a deadbeat on Ebay. This was several years ago and I cancelled both accounts (Paypal and Ebay) afterwards when neither one would help after filing through the formal processes. I think they're both a joke and recommend you cover yourself before doing business with them...

Use your credit card on your paypal setup, not a debit card. Then you have 2 layers of protection. If paypal doesn't resolve it to your satisfaction, you can have your credit card company reverse the charge to paypal.

What if you don't use and don't have a credit card?

I am under the impression that if your debit card is a Visa or Mastercard debit card you are afforded the same protection as a Visa or MC credit card. But, what I do is link mine to a small "hunting" account that I just transfer money into when I want to buy something.
