    Moisture inside optics?

I went hunting at Granger yesterday and got caught in a downpour. My Redfield range finder got soaking wet and now has moisture inside it, which is obscuring its view. How can I get the moisture out? Is it possible?

Put it in rice maybe? If it works on phones maybe it will work on rangefinders!

I used my wife's hair dryer on hot high and let it heat the fore lens for ten minutes. Moisture is gone from that one. Now I have turned it around to try it on the eye lens.

            Bummer...
I'd take that back to manufacturer.
That problem was dealt with back in the 60's...
