Mountain Lion Question

How do they do this on a cactus? Seems like it would hurt pretty bad or at least lead to a nagging injury.

It there are dogs at the bottom of that cactus I would believe it

Deer will eat corn thrown into prickly pear patches so I can believe this . I guess you do what survival dictates.

It has its ears penned back so I'd say it's not too happy about the current situation. I guess one way to look at it is, if a person was barefoot and surrounded by cactus and a mountain lion was after them,would they go ahead and run through the cactus to get away? You gotta do what needs to be done to survive. You can always worry about picking the stickers out later.
