    Help me with Agg exempt

    Can y'all help me out with some info as far as how many acres are required, number of livestock so on. We bought 20 acres and would like to put some livestock in. Any help is greatly appreciated!

    If you can prove that livestock had been grazed on the property for 5 of the last 7 yrs you can apply for ag exempt now. If not you will have to wait 5 yrs.

      I also have 23 acres I have 9 cows and 3 horses which is too many animals you could hold about 6 cows and be fine.

                  It varies by county, so your best bet is contacting your county appraisal office or ag extention office.
